Q. Who is the audience?
A. With the continuing world problems and the concern for safety, as well as the difficulties with the country’s economy, we are beginning to see a change in travel patterns. Many travelers are staying closer to their home country and looking for more economical ways to spend the leisure time like taking road trips.

Your Custom designed or Cousin Jess Motor Tours help to meet this need by providing a great way to experience the featured area. The traveler can pick and choose what they want to see at a fraction of the price of other types of tours especially for families or groups.
Q. Why should we spend our marketing dollars on a tour CD?
A. It is a unique marketing tool for the area that is useful and has a real value for the end user, the visitor…not just another brochure, booklet, pen, or mug.

It’s a low or no cost way to entice thousands of visitors to take a tour of the area where cost of tours may be an issue for families or for visitors who don’t like the structure of a regular tour.

It is an economical way to advertise your area and a great incentive giveaway for leisure or business groups considering your area.
Q. What’s the difference between a Cousin Jess Tour and a Convention & Travel Services Tour CD?
A. Cousin Jess is an unbiased selection of favorite local places. None of the businesses featured have paid for being included on the CD.

In order to keep the integrity of the Cousin Jess Tour product as a truly unbiased opinion of the locals, a separate CD brand was created to meet the need of businesses who would like to customize their CD by selecting the businesses to be featured.
Q. How often are the tours updated?
A. We make every effort to insure the information is correct at the time of production. However, businesses do change and Tortuga Enterprises is not responsible for changes after the production date. There is also a periodic review cycle. Because of the technology used, it is easy to make updates, if we are aware a change has occurred before the review, so that they are included with your next order.
Q. Is it available in other languages?
A. While the primary language is English, we understand that many of the visitors are from outside of the U.S. With a minimum order of 10,000 units we are happy to offer the CD in many languages requested.
Q. How long does it take to get my order?
A. New productions usually required 6 to 8 weeks to produce (slightly longer for foreign language versions). Normal delivery, on re-orders of existing CD's, take about ten days to process. Rush shipments may be available for an extra fee.
Q. How do I know that the sites and activities, in a Cousin Jess Motor Tour version, are really the best my area has to offer?
A. Everyone’s opinion of what’s the best will be different. However, put yourself in the place of the new visitor to your area. If you were visiting and didn’t know much about the area, wouldn’t a local’s opinion be better than shooting in the dark? We think so because that is exactly what many visitors do—they ask a local.

Cousin Jess just wants to make that step a little easier. All of our information is provided by 2-4 recommended locals in the area. They are given very specific instructions about the types of information to include and, while it is their perspective, it is better than touring blind.
Q. Does Cousin Jess have any lodging recommendations?
A. No, Cousin Jess’ focus is on sites and restaurants; however, Cousin Jess does have a number of privately owned timeshare resort properties available on a first come, first serve basis in Maui; Cabo San Lucas; Newport Beach, CA, and Northern Arizona. If you are interested in availability, please email us here.
Q. How do you get the “local” information?
A. Cousin Jess has “other cousins” in all of the tourist destinations featured who provide the local information. They are long time residents of the area, have a wide variety of information. If you are interested in becoming a local expert for a future Cousin Jess CD, email us here and we will provide additional information and the required qualifications.
